The September Programme

The September Programme was a political plan proposed in 1918 by the German government towards the end of World War I. It aimed to secure Germany’s future by expanding its territory and gaining resources, especially from colonies and neighboring regions. The plan sought to strengthen Germany’s economic and military position, addressing the challenges faced during the war. However, it was rejected by the Allies, who wanted to punish Germany for the war. The programme reflected Germany’s desire for territorial gains, but its rejection contributed to the harsh terms of the post-war Treaty of Versailles.
