The Sasquatch Genome Project

The Sasquatch Genome Project was a scientific effort launched in 2012 to analyze DNA evidence linked to Bigfoot, also known as Sasquatch. Researchers aimed to identify whether these creatures are real animals or biological phenomena by extracting and studying DNA from hair, tissue, or other samples purportedly belonging to Sasquatch. Their goal was to determine the species' biological identity, potentially confirming it as a new species or a known one. While some sample analyses claimed to reveal unknown primate DNA, the findings remain controversial within the scientific community due to issues with sample verification and methodology.
