The Sagan Institute

The Sagan Institute is a research organization dedicated to the search for intelligent life beyond Earth. Named after astronomer Carl Sagan, it develops scientific methods to detect signs of life on other planets and moons, and studies the planet Earth’s own biosphere to understand life's origins and resilience. The institute also promotes interdisciplinary collaboration among scientists to explore space and address challenges related to planetary protection and sustainable exploration. Its goal is to expand our understanding of life's potential in the universe and ensure that humanity explores space responsibly.
