The Pyramid of Corporate Social Responsibility

The Pyramid of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is a framework that shows how businesses can contribute to society in a balanced way. It has four levels: at the base, economic responsibility—being financially viable; next, legal responsibility—following laws; then, ethical responsibility—doing what’s right beyond legal requirements; and at the top, philanthropic responsibility—giving back through charity and community efforts. This pyramid encourages companies to build a sustainable and responsible operation that benefits both their business and society at large.
