The Pregnancy Project
The Pregnancy Project was an experiment led by high school student Gaby Rodriguez to challenge stereotypes about teen pregnancy. She intentionally pretended to be pregnant for several months, engaging with her community and classmates, to observe their reactions and attitudes toward teen mothers. The project aimed to highlight biases and dispel misconceptions about teenage pregnancy, encouraging more understanding and support rather than judgment. Ultimately, it raised awareness about the societal issues faced by teen mothers and prompted conversations about empathy, stereotypes, and the importance of supportive communities.
