The Pixar Story

Pixar Animation Studios began in the late 1970s as part of Lucasfilm, developing groundbreaking computer graphics technology. In 1986, Apple co-founder Steve Jobs purchased it, transforming it into a dedicated animation studio. Pixar revolutionized animated films with the release of "Toy Story" in 1995, the first feature-length computer-animated film. Their storytelling, innovative technology, and distinctive art style led to hits like "Finding Nemo," "The Incredibles," and "WALL-E." Pixar's commitment to creativity and emotional storytelling has earned it numerous awards and a lasting impact on both animation and Hollywood. In 2006, it was acquired by The Walt Disney Company.
