The Piddingtons
The Piddingtons were an Australian husband-and-wife team, Owen and Helen Piddington, known in the 1930s for claiming to demonstrate the power of thought transference—an idea that thoughts could be sent and received telepathically. They conducted experiments, often claiming they could "read minds" or transmit thoughts, sometimes attributing their success to telepathy or psychic abilities. Their activities gained media attention, but skeptics argued that their performances relied on trickery or deception. Though their work is considered part of early psychic entertainment, there is no scientific evidence supporting genuine telepathic communication.
