The Nymph
A nymph is an immature stage of certain insects, such as butterflies and dragonflies, during their development. Unlike larvae, which often look quite different from adults, nymphs resemble miniature versions of the mature insect but lack fully developed wings and reproductive organs. They undergo several molts, gradually transforming through a process called incomplete metamorphosis, until they reach adulthood. Nymphs typically live in the same environment as adults and are an essential part of the insect's life cycle, contributing to their growth and survival before reaching maturity.
