The Night Sky

The night sky is a vast, dark canvas dotted with stars, planets, and other celestial objects. It results from Earth's rotation, which causes different parts of the sky to become visible as the night progresses. Stars are enormous, luminous spheres of hot gas, while planets are worlds orbiting stars like our Sun. Occasionally, we see moons, meteors, and distant galaxies. The sky's appearance varies by location and season, influenced by Earth's tilt and orbit. Studying the night sky helps us understand the universe's history, its scale, and the fundamental forces shaping it.
