The Movement for Black Lives

The Movement for Black Lives (M4BL) is a coalition of organizations and individuals advocating for the rights and dignity of Black people. It emerged in response to systemic racism and police violence, particularly following incidents such as the deaths of Trayvon Martin and Michael Brown. The movement seeks to address issues like criminal justice reform, economic justice, healthcare access, and political representation. By raising awareness and pushing for policy changes, M4BL aims to create a society where Black individuals can live freely and thrive, championing both local and national initiatives to promote equality and justice.
