The Mosaic Law

The Mosaic Law, also known as the Law of Moses, consists of religious, moral, and societal regulations given to the Israelites in the Hebrew Bible, primarily through Moses. It includes commandments such as the Ten Commandments and detailed instructions on worship, ethical behavior, justice, and daily living. These laws aimed to shape the Israelites' relationship with God and with each other, promoting holiness and social order. While historically foundational for Judaism and Christianity, they also reflect ancient conditions and values, serving as a moral guide and a covenant between God and His people.
