The Mind and the Brain

The mind and the brain are closely related but distinct concepts. The brain is the physical organ made of neurons and tissues, serving as the center of biological processes and neural activity. The mind, on the other hand, refers to our thoughts, feelings, perceptions, and consciousness—our subjective experience. While the brain's activity produces mental states, the mind encompasses how we interpret, experience, and make sense of these processes. In essence, the brain is the hardware, and the mind is the software—together, they create our personal experience of reality.
