The Meno Problem
The Meno Problem questions how people can recognize or acquire knowledge of things they have never encountered before. It challenges the idea that learning is just recalling pre-existing knowledge, suggesting instead that the mind might have innate ideas or the ability to "relearn" through a process called recollection. Essentially, it asks: how can we recognize new concepts without prior knowledge, and how do we come to know things we've never experienced directly? This problem explores the nature of knowledge, learning, and whether understanding is built from experience or exists inherently within us.
