The Macedonian Orthodox Church

The Macedonian Orthodox Church is the main religious organization for Orthodox Christians in North Macedonia, representing a branch of Eastern Orthodoxy. It has its own leadership and traditions, and it plays a key role in cultural and spiritual life. Recognized as autocephalous (independent) since 1967, it maintains spiritual ties with other Orthodox churches worldwide.
