The M2 Flamethrower

The M2 Flamethrower was a military weapon used during World War II that projected a stream of burning fuel to target enemies and fortifications. It consisted of a fuel tank worn on the soldier's back, connected by hoses to handheld nozzles. When activated, it sprayed flammable liquid, which was ignited to produce a powerful, short-range blast of fire. Designed mainly for clearing bunkers and trenches, the M2 was effective but also dangerous for the user, as the fuel pose a risk of injury from heat or explosion. It represented a fearsome, yet specialized, incendiary weapon of its time.
