The Kolb Model
The Kolb Model is a way to understand how people learn from experience. It suggests that learning is a cycle with four steps: doing something (concrete experience), reflecting on that experience, thinking about what it means (abstract conceptualization), and trying out new ideas or approaches (active experimentation). People often prefer to start at different points in the cycle and learn best when moving through all four steps. This model helps individuals and educators understand different learning styles and how to improve learning by engaging actively and reflectively at each stage.
