The Kelpies (sculptures)

The Kelpies are two giant sculptures of horses located in Falkirk, Scotland, designed by artist Andy Scott. Standing 30 meters tall, they depict symbolic Scottish water horses from mythology. Made of stainless steel, the sculptures are highly reflective and capture the surrounding landscape. They celebrate Scotland’s maritime heritage and the working horses that once pulled barges and carts. The Kelpies also serve as a cultural landmark and attract visitors for their striking design and impressive engineering, symbolizing strength, endurance, and the importance of horses in local history.
