The International Coalition for the Responsibility to Protect

The International Coalition for the Responsibility to Protect (R2P) is a global effort to prevent mass atrocities like genocide, war crimes, ethnic cleansing, and crimes against humanity. It brings together countries, organizations, and experts committed to ensuring that when a government fails to protect its citizens or commits such atrocities, the international community can respond, often through diplomatic, humanitarian, or, as a last resort, military measures.
