The Institutional Logics Perspective
The Institutional Logics Perspective is a way of understanding how different sets of beliefs, values, and practices—called "logics"—shape behavior within organizations and society. Each logic provides a framework for what is considered appropriate or legitimate in a particular context, such as business, family, or government. These logics influence decision-making, priorities, and interactions, often coexist or compete within the same environment. Recognizing these underlying logics helps explain why organizations and people behave the way they do, especially when different values or expectations come into contact or conflict.
