The Honey Badger
The honey badger, also known as the ratel, is a fierce and resourceful mammal native to Africa and parts of the Middle East. Despite its small size, it is known for its boldness, strength, and resilience. It feeds on a variety of prey, including insects, small mammals, and even honey—hence the name—sometimes raiding beehives for the sweet reward. The honey badger has tough, loose skin for protection against bites and can withstand venom from snakebites. Its fearless attitude and adaptability make it one of the most formidable animals relative to its size in the animal kingdom.
