The Hemispheric Specialization Theory
Hemispheric specialization theory suggests that the brain's two halves, or hemispheres, have different functions. The left hemisphere is typically associated with language, logic, and analytical thinking, while the right hemisphere is more involved in spatial awareness, creativity, and recognizing faces and patterns. Although both sides work together, each has specialized roles that contribute to our overall thinking and functioning. This division helps us process information efficiently and supports different skills, although the extent and strictness of this specialization can vary among individuals.
