The Hamilton Commission

The Hamilton Commission is a research initiative founded in 2019 to investigate and address the underrepresentation of Black people in science and technology careers in the UK. It aims to understand the barriers Black individuals face, such as educational disparities and lack of opportunities, and to develop strategies that promote greater diversity and inclusion in these fields. The Commission works with educational institutions, industry, and policymakers to create actionable solutions, ultimately striving for a more equitable landscape where Black talent is better supported, nurtured, and enabled to succeed in STEM careers.
