The Great Green Wall Initiative

The Great Green Wall Initiative is an ambitious environmental project aimed at combating desertification and climate change in Africa. It seeks to create a vast wall of trees and vegetation across the Sahel region, stretching from Senegal in the west to Djibouti in the east. This green barrier will help restore degraded land, improve biodiversity, and enhance food security for local communities.
