The Gendered Spaces Project

The Gendered Spaces Project explores how physical environments, such as workplaces, neighborhoods, or public areas, are shaped by and reflect gender norms and roles. It examines how these spaces can reinforce gender inequalities or provide opportunities for resistance. By analyzing the design, use, and meaning of spaces, the project aims to understand how gender influences our interactions and experiences in different environments, ultimately promoting more equitable and inclusive spaces for all genders.
