The Gay, Lesbian & Straight Education Network

The Gay, Lesbian & Straight Education Network (GLSEN) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating safe, inclusive, and affirming K-12 educational environments for LGBTQ+ students and staff. They develop resources, advocate for policy changes, and support schools in implementing anti-bullying measures, inclusive curricula, and staff training. GLSEN’s goal is to ensure all students can learn free from discrimination and harassment related to sexual orientation or gender identity, fostering respect and understanding in educational settings.
