The Four Pillars of Education (UNESCO)
The Four Pillars of Education, outlined by UNESCO, are foundational aspects that support effective learning. They include: 1) Learning to Know, which emphasizes acquiring knowledge and the ability to learn throughout life; 2) Learning to Do, focusing on practical skills and applying knowledge in real-world situations; 3) Learning to Be, fostering personal development, self-awareness, and independence; and 4) Learning to Live Together, promoting understanding, respect, and cooperation among different cultures and people. Together, these pillars aim to develop well-rounded individuals capable of adapting to and contributing positively to society.
