The Eye (human eye)

The human eye is a complex organ that allows us to see by detecting light and converting it into electrical signals sent to the brain. Light enters through the cornea, passes through the pupil controlled by the iris, and lenses focus it onto the retina at the back of the eye. The retina’s cells detect light and color, then send signals via the optic nerve to the brain, which interprets them into images. The eye also adjusts focus with the lens for near or distant objects, and muscles control eye movement for proper viewing.
