The European Commission

The European Commission is the executive branch of the European Union, responsible for proposing and enforcing laws, managing the EU’s day-to-day operations, and representing the EU internationally. Composed of professionals called Commissioners from each member country, it works to implement policies that benefit all member states, ensuring unity and progress within the EU. The Commission also manages the EU's budget and supervises adherence to EU rules, acting as a driving force for integration and cooperation across Europe.
