The Equity Audit

An equity audit is a comprehensive review that evaluates how fairly organizations, such as schools or workplaces, provide opportunities and resources to everyone. It identifies if certain groups, based on race, gender, or other factors, face disparities or barriers. The goal is to uncover gaps and biases so that action can be taken to ensure fairness, inclusion, and equal access for all individuals. Essentially, it’s a way to assess and improve organizational practices to promote equity and justice.
