The End of History (theory)

The End of History is a theory proposed by political philosopher Francis Fukuyama, suggesting that with the end of the Cold War, liberal democracy and free-market capitalism have become the final, most desirable forms of government and economic organization. He argues that these systems represent the culmination of political and economic development, leading to political stability and ideological consensus worldwide. While not implying that all issues are solved, Fukuyama believes this marks the point where liberal democracy becomes the dominant and "final" political system, shaping society’s evolution moving forward.
