The DZero Experiment
The DØ (DZero) experiment is a scientific project at Fermilab that studies fundamental particles and forces by analyzing high-energy collisions of protons and antiprotons. Its goal is to understand the basic building blocks of matter and the forces governing them, contributing to our knowledge of the universe. Using a sophisticated detector, DØ captures and examines the remnants of these collisions to look for rare phenomena, such as particles predicted by theories beyond the Standard Model. This research helps scientists explore questions about the origin of mass, dark matter, and the fundamental nature of the universe.
