The DuVernay Collective

The DuVernay Collective is a collaborative initiative founded by filmmaker Ava DuVernay, aimed at supporting and empowering Black creators and storytellers. It functions as a community and platform that provides resources, mentorship, and opportunities for Black artists to develop their work and amplify their voices. The Collective promotes diversity and inclusion within the entertainment industry by fostering innovative projects and facilitating connections among creators, industry professionals, and audiences. Through this collective effort, DuVernay seeks to cultivate a more representative and equitable landscape for Black narratives in film, television, and other media.
