The Double Aspect Theory
The Double Aspect Theory suggests that the mind and body are two different ways of viewing the same underlying reality. Instead of seeing them as separate entities, this theory proposes that mental experiences, like thoughts and feelings, and physical processes, like brain activity, are simply two aspects of one fundamental substance. This means that when we experience emotions or thoughts, there’s a corresponding physical process happening in our brain and body. Essentially, both aspects are interconnected and provide a holistic understanding of human existence.
