The Deming Cycle

The Deming Cycle, also called PDCA, is a method for improving processes and solving problems. It involves four steps: Plan (identify an issue and develop a plan to address it), Do (implement the plan on a small scale), Check (evaluate if the solution worked), and Act (standardize the successful change or adjust and repeat). This iterative process helps organizations continually improve by learning from each cycle, making adjustments, and refining their approaches to achieve better results. It's a practical framework for consistent, incremental progress in any system or process.
