The Defense Centers of Excellence for Psychological Health and Traumatic Brain Injury

The Defense Centers of Excellence for Psychological Health and Traumatic Brain Injury (DCoE) is a U.S. Department of Defense organization that supports service members, veterans, and their families by improving mental health and brain injury care. It promotes research, education, and best practices to prevent, identify, and treat psychological conditions and brain injuries resulting from service. DCoE also works to reduce stigma around seeking help and enhances coordination among healthcare providers, aiming to ensure timely, effective support for those affected by psychological health issues and traumatic brain injuries during and after military service.
