The Common App
The Common Application, or Common App, is a standardized online platform that college applicants can use to apply to multiple colleges and universities simultaneously. Instead of filling out separate application forms for each school, students complete one core application, which can be submitted to numerous participating institutions. It streamlines the admission process, saving time and effort, and allows students to showcase their accomplishments through shared essays, test scores, and recommendations. Many colleges in the U.S. and some internationally accept the Common App, making college applications more efficient and accessible.
