The Celestial Hierarchy

The Celestial Hierarchy is a theological concept describing the organized ranks of angels and spiritual beings in many religious traditions. It divides these beings into three tiers: the highest includes angels like Seraphim and Cherubim, who serve close to the divine; the middle tier features principalities, powers, and authorities, who oversee cosmic order and humanity; and the lowest consists of archangels and angels, acting as messengers and guides. This structure emphasizes a spiritual order where each level has specific roles and duties, facilitating divine governance and the moral progression of creation.
