The C-B (Cognitive-Behavioral) Model
The Cognitive-Behavioral (C-B) Model explains that our thoughts, feelings, and actions are interconnected. When we interpret events in certain ways, it influences how we feel emotionally and how we behave. For example, if you think you're going to fail a test, you might feel anxious and avoid studying. By changing negative thoughts, you can positively impact your emotions and actions. The model is used in therapy to help identify and challenge unhelpful thoughts, leading to healthier feelings and behaviors, ultimately improving mental well-being.
