The Bolshevik Party

The Bolshevik Party was a revolutionary political group in Russia, led by Vladimir Lenin, that aimed to overthrow the monarchy and establish a socialist government. Emerging from the Russian Social Democratic Labor Party, they emphasized a disciplined, centralized approach and believed in peasant and worker control. In 1917, they led the October Revolution, seizing power from the provisional government, and laid the foundation for the Soviet Union. Their ideas and actions significantly shaped 20th-century politics and the course of Russian history.
