The Black Women's Health Study
The Black Women's Health Study is a long-term research project that tracks health information from Black women across the United States. Its goal is to understand health issues that affect Black women specifically, such as breast cancer, heart disease, and mental health. By collecting data through surveys and medical records over time, the study aims to identify patterns and risk factors. This research helps improve healthcare, develop better prevention strategies, and address health disparities, ultimately working toward healthier outcomes for Black women.
