the Bite Work (bitewing X-rays)
Bitewing X-rays are a type of dental imaging used to check the health of your upper and lower back teeth and the bones supporting them. During the procedure, you bite down on a small tab attached to the X-ray film or sensor. This position allows the X-rays to capture detailed images of the crown portions of your teeth, including areas between teeth that are hard to see during a visual exam. Dentists use these images to detect cavities, monitor bone levels, and assess overall dental health, helping identify issues early before they become more serious.
