The Birth Partners
The Birth Partners are individuals chosen by a pregnant person to support them during labor, delivery, and postpartum. They may be partners, family members, friends, or doulas. Their role is to provide emotional encouragement, help communicate with medical staff, and assist with comfort measures like breathing techniques or positioning. Birth Partners do not perform medical tasks but are an essential source of reassurance, advocacy, and physical support, helping the pregnant individual feel more secure and empowered throughout the childbirth experience.
