The Bechdel Test Movie

The Bechdel Test evaluates whether a film features at least two women who have a conversation with each other about something other than a man. To pass, a movie must meet three criteria: it has at least two named female characters, they talk to each other, and their conversation isn't about a man. The test is a simple way to highlight gender representation and the presence of meaningful female roles in films. It doesn’t assess quality or feminist value but offers insight into how women are depicted in storytelling.
