The Bass Model
The Bass Model is a way to predict how new products or technologies will be adopted over time. It divides adopters into two groups: innovators, who start using the product early because they're interested or curious, and imitators, who begin using it because they've seen others do so. The model uses mathematics to forecast the rate of adoption, showing how initially slow growth accelerates as more people adopt, then eventually levels off when most potential users have adopted. This helps companies plan production, marketing, and sales strategies effectively.
