The ASMR Research and Treatment Study Group
The ASMR Research and Treatment Study Group is an organization dedicated to studying Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response (ASMR), a calming, tingling sensation some people experience in response to certain auditory or visual stimuli. Their goal is to understand the phenomenon scientifically, explore its potential mental health benefits, and develop evidence-based approaches for using ASMR in therapy and well-being. By conducting research and sharing findings, they aim to improve understanding of ASMR’s mechanisms and promote its safe and effective use for relaxation, stress reduction, and mental health support.
