The Argument

An argument is a series of statements where one or more statements (called premises) support a conclusion. The purpose is to persuade or demonstrate that the conclusion is true based on the evidence or reasoning provided. Think of it like a logical chain: the premises provide reasons, and these reasons lead us to accept the conclusion. For an argument to be strong, the premises must be relevant and reliable, making the conclusion more convincing. Conversely, if the premises are weak or false, the argument fails to effectively support its conclusion.
