The APICS Supply Chain Council

The APICS Supply Chain Council was a professional organization dedicated to advancing supply chain management practices globally. It provided research, standards, certifications, and best practice frameworks to help companies improve the efficiency, transparency, and responsiveness of their supply chains—from raw materials to delivering finished products. The council aimed to promote collaboration and knowledge-sharing among professionals, fostering innovation and excellence in managing complex logistics and operations. In 2014, APICS merged with other organizations to form the Association for Supply Chain Management (ASCM), further strengthening its mission to develop supply chain talent and improve industry standards.
