The Ants' Life Cycle
The ants' life cycle begins when a queen ant lays eggs. These eggs hatch into larvae, which are cared for by worker ants. After feeding and growing, larvae pupate and mature into adult ants—either workers, soldiers, or reproductive males and queens. Worker ants typically become adults quickly and maintain the colony, while new queens and males leave to mate. Fertilized queens then establish new colonies, starting the cycle anew. This process ensures the survival and expansion of the ant colony over time.
