The Anthropology Department
The Anthropology Department studies humans, past and present, to understand our diversity, evolution, cultures, and societies. It explores how humans have developed biologically over time, the ways different groups live and interact, and how culture and language shape our experiences. Through research and fieldwork, the department seeks to uncover insights about human origins, social behaviors, and cultural practices, fostering a deeper appreciation of our shared humanity and diversity across different times and places.
