The Allied Powers
The Allied Powers were a coalition of countries that collaborated during World War I and World War II to oppose the Central Powers and the Axis Powers, respectively. In World War II, major Allies included the United States, the United Kingdom, the Soviet Union, and China. They worked together to defeat the Axis Powers—Germany, Japan, and Italy—by sharing resources, coordinating military strategies, and providing mutual support. Their alliance was driven by the common goal of stopping aggression and maintaining international stability, ultimately leading to the defeat of the Axis Powers and the shaping of the post-war world order.
